Rockstar Still Loves the PC [But Forget About Red Dead Redemption]

Rockstar Games says information technology still loves the PC, but don't hold your breath ready and waiting for a mouse-and-keyboard interpretation of Red Dead Redemption.

To make up legible, Rockstar hasn't exactly hit the PC with the Klingon usage of Discommendation. Gilded Theft Car, Max Payne 3 and, soon, L.A. Noire are all available for the program, after complete, as are older franchises care Bully and Manhunt. But one notable absence from that list is last yr's Western epic Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar addressed that hole in the lineup in a recent "Asked & Answered" session with a softly-phrased message that mayhap it's fourth dimension to just get it go.

"We coif jazz that, yes, there is just one title missing from our PC outlet plans – that game of feed being Red Dead Redemption, and of run over we're well aware that some fans have been asking for it," the studio wrote. "All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-impudent) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the example 100 percent of the meter for all platforms." The answer goes on to suggest that PC gamers equal well-chosen with what they're acquiring.

Okay, then maybe the issue ISN't on the nose "addressed" in the firmest sense of the word. Platform viability is fine and dandy, but what does that actually average? What makes L.A. Noire feasible patc Red Dead Salvation isn't? I don't get it, which is I guess the tail line of descent when it comes to RDR, too.

On the top side, Rockstar said that the "Chicago Piano" Simple machine Gun, "Windy City Lightning," "The Broderick" and "The Sharpshooter" detective suits, the "Badge Pursuit Challenge" and else DLC will every be included with the PC waiver of L.A. Noire, which comes out on November 8.
